We offer many opportunities for growth in understanding our faith and God's word.  We offer Christian Education classes on Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. for all ages.  There is also Bible study during the evening and during the day.

We have Sunday School classes for children from preschool through high school.

Middle School and
High-School Class
In the Middle School class students learn more about their faith through discussions based on the Bible and real life situations.   
Our High School class is conducted through an open forum type discussion format where real life experiences are explored and related to their faith journey.


Adult Classes

There are a variety of opportunities for adults to share in Christian Education, each a little different in focus and format:

 

Hawkins Class:  Blends a study of scripture with theology and how they relate to life experiences.

Contemporary Class:  Encourages lively discussion about faith development making choices, especially as they relate to contemporary life issues. 

 

Young Adult Class: Discusses a weekly reading focused on our interaction with our children...frustration, patience, and love...to name a few!

Vacation Bible School
We offer Vacation Bible School for kids from preschool to fifth grade.  Generally our VBS is during the first full week of August and we host it with the Hallsville United Methodist Church.  Look for exact dates and times in May or June. 

 

TRANSFORMED--How God Changes Us by Rick Warren (The Purpose Driven Life)

 LAST CALL to join the new study group, facilitated by Sue Jones, which is entitled "Transformed", and taught by Rick Warren, author of "The Purpose Driven Life", in a 7 session video series. Each session is 25-35 minutes long and helps us to learn how a life with God can transform our lives in 7 key areas: Spiritually, Physically, Mentally, Emotionally, In our Relationships, Financially and Vocationally. We will meet once a month, beginning (and maybe continuing) in the home of Jack and Susan. First session will start March 18th @ 6 pm - refreshments will be provided. Please see Jack or Sue for more info or for directions. We are hoping you will join us!
